Adán Black will continue to offer an ACTING IN ENGLISH WORKSHOP, based on monologues and scenes from
THE GREAT AMERICAN CLASSICS of the period 2012. In Part VII of this workshop, we will examine the work of
Quiara Alegría Hudes, Amy Herzog, Stephen Karam.
The plays to be worked on are: WATER BY THE SPOONFUL, THE GREAT GOD PAN, SONS OF THE PROPHET.

Dinamic of the workshop
• During the first three weeks of the workshop, we do group readings of the three plays. One each week.
• Once we’ve read the plays, the actors have to choose a scene or a monologue from one of the plays we’ve read in class. In the event of choosing a scene, the actor must also choose a scene partner.
• Once scenes & monologues have been determined, we start working for the next twelve weeks, on the material selected, till the end of the Workshop, on May 30th.

In order to be accepted into the workshop, the actor must first apply by filling out the admission form, followed by an interview with Adán Black in English.
